he also has to have MSAA disabled. funny how he went from "max" settings to having four of the most demanding settings disabled.

As I said I run mostly around 600mb Vram in those games under "Max Settings" so "MAX" indicates but is not limited to MAX AA/AF Thanx :) PS I never run FXAA I don't like it so it's all or nothing for me.

Maybe you missed the part about VRAM multiplying with resolution. If you're using a 2003 resolution yes, VRAM usage will be lower. And you're still higher than the 500mb claim.

In case you missed it, VRAM usage isn't static. It multiplies with resolution and AA, while the presentation stuff multiplies with quality settings. The higher you go (resolution, AA, etc) the higher VRAM goes, it is NOT STATIC.

It's only static during pre-rendered cinematic. If I can't max it out on my 680 @1080P,even @1050P it will be difficult for 560 to max it.Though I really don't care as I never liked this game much.

I will buy from amazon, and then ship it to my country.. it is cheaper that way than buying locally.. i mentioned those two because they are available on amazon... but do you think that if i run surround/eyefinity is it worth to get a 7950 and a dvi to DP adapter over a gtx670? price-performance wise

Let me start by saying both are good cards. Since you know you need DP monitors for Eyefinity with the reference connections, just buy DP monitors. They are readily available at good prices. The other option is the Sapphire 7950 Flex Edition. It also has what is probably the best cooler in the industry at the moment and an excellent bundle of cables.

I just don't understand how vram usage has any implication on the thread topic. So what now, less vram usage equals to higher price and vice versa :D

This all started when people buying high end cards for $400 and up were called idiots. There are reasons we spend the money on higher end gpu hardware. Having more vram might be one of those reasons with more and more games demanding vram and 4GB cards being sold as well.

Not to mention that $400.00 has a very different meaning to someone who makes $20k/year versus someone who makes $80k/year.

Some of us have new, expensive cards because we can afford them.
