Current gogamer.com '48 hour' Windows sale: Fallout 3 $33; Far Cry 2 $28

Those are the two standout deals I see for two well reviewed games, that normally cost more.

If you still don't have the original Fallout 1 and 2, the compilation is there for $13 in a lukewarm deal, also includes Tactics that I can't recommend but some like.

I bought Follaout 3, hadn't seen it below $40 before this. Far Cry 2 still appears widely $50. Edit: I later saw the other thread for the old Fallout game deal, but...

Platforms I've bought for the kids to use.

My PS3 is used 90% a blu ray playeer, 1% game and 9% streaming media

My pc is 90% gaming, 10% browser.
This is the way it should be.

platforms for the kids (although my son's computer is no gaming slouch!)
PC rigs for the adults!

I just can't play platform games using a darn controller.

I've just gotta have a keyboard and mouse to play FPS properly.

Nice find. I bought fallout 3 when it came out because my friends were telling me how awesome it will be, but I just couldnt get into the story. Over the weekend I sat down and actually played the storyline quests for a few hours and am completely hooked now. Very fun game, can't wait for the DLC. And yeah..FPS should only be played on PC, or they should release a mouse/keyboard combo for 360..i might actually be able to enjoy gears of war and the other shooters on xbox.

Agreed. I'm awful with joysticks in shooters and it just frustrates me - so, I don't buy them if they aren't on PC.

Fallout 3 for PC shows up as $47.90 for me. :-(

I've been waiting for it to go below $40 to buy. Guess I'll have to keep on waiting.

edit: just noticed the date and 48 hour sale description. Guess I should have paid closer attention to the deals lately, dunno how I missed this one. :brokenheart:
