Curling your lashes: Before/After you put on mascara?

I just bought an eyelash curler and mascara for the first time... ever.

Just trying to figure out how they work.

Thanks... should I warm up the curler beforehand with a blowdryer, or use it as-is?

Thanks for the kind words, MacGaven... I don't normally wear any make up, this is more out of curiosity than anything else. I've never had lashes and had to spend $7.00 more at drugstore.com before getting free shipping, so I used it to get a curler and mascara. I couldn't think of anything else I really needed.

She may not "need" it, but there is certainly nothing wrong with it, provided it's not overdone (sculpted on with a trowel, a la Tammy Faye Bakker).

I've never notice when a girl is wearing mascara. I tend to focus a little south of the eyelashes....
