Would it be feasible to have a sticky in tech support for common answers to common problems?

For example. Quite often people have a file they want to delete and Windows won't let them. This comes up quite often, and the answers are always the same... maybe if there were a sticky this could filter out quite a bit.

Probably the most common thing is a computer not booting or other issues similar. A comprehensive post with every step to evaluating the situation and possible fixes could be very useful. It could be a joint operation between regular helpers here.

Generally if you have a sticky that has multiple issues in it, it gets used less often than multiple stickies. I don't think you'd need really more than a couple stickies to help, and that's a lot less than some of the subforums.

Anyway, it's just a thought, wanted to know if it would be something we could do.

You mean that FAQ that doesn't do what I described, isn't a sticky, and is mostly invisible?
 
We used to have one that DaiShan and myself wrote, but the same stupid questions were posted over and over again.
