Curious... your favorite Counter-Strike weapons...

yes, another one of my stupid curiosity polls.

List a few of your favorite CS weapons and perhaps reasons why.

1. M4A1 (silenced) - adds a lil more accuracy when silenced...
or maybe it's just a mental thing
2. MP5 - all around gun... light, fast fire, fast reload, accurate
3. AK47 - accurate on quick bursts, very strong...
4. Deagle - speaks for itself
5. 5-7 , it's like the deagle with more rounds, less power
i like to take out 3+ ppl with it in the first round

i'm more into accuracy than power.
just listed a couple of pistols for the heck of it

Mac10- sure I'll drop it for a rifle, but it's so much fun to just empty a clip into someone.

M249 - nothing compares for emptying a room...from outside the room

Before beta six (maybe beta 5) the colt had a single zoom. The best gun easily. When you zoomed the rate of fire slowed sown so that the gun would shoot perfectly straight, even when holding the buton down. I miss that and gun running.

The silencer doesn't add any accuracy. The sound just makes it seem like it. And yes, pre beta...beta 5(?) the colt had a zoom instead of the silencer...much better IMO:

man, i started playing in beta 7.0...
i must've missed out big time...
frend tells me that the mp5 used to be mad awesome too, stronger and what not

i hated 1.0 when it first came out, but i got used to it now

I use the MP5 almost exclusively.
Con-Weak
Pro-Accurate, doesn't spray out wildly like the other guns.

Always deagle for pistol.

This question all depends on what map is being played.. but in general.. heres a breakdown

1. Automatic kelishnekov (AK-47)
2. Desert Eagel
3. M4-A1 (silenced.. more accurate)

Of course this all depends.. I normally prefer auto shotgun on rushes and close range combat.. 1-2 shots of the shotgun at close range and the enemy is turned into mashed potatoes

My all around favorite is the M4A1.. I don't care how powerful or accurate it is, the BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM sound of it is just soo pleasing..

Pros - most accurate
Cons - expensive

seriously, with my para i've gone on wild 3 kills, 24 deaths streaks with this gun.

I have learned to like the AK. Pretty darn good from medium distance, a couple taps of the mouse and I can usually kill my opponent and his Colt. Full auto on the gun REALLY sucks though.

Pistol: Deagle and USP.
SMG: MP5.
Rifle: AK-47 or Colt, depends on the side I'm on..

Can never be without a grenade either.

Varies, sometimes you are just hot on one weapon and so you stick with it.

But my most favorite weapon is the mp5.

What ever I have enough money to buy.

With that, my question..

1. When you are low on cash do you skip the kevlar and go for a good weapon or get the kevlar and then default to what ever weapon you have money for?
2. Do you buy the most ammo you can carry or save the cash and just look for a dropped weapon when you run low on ammo?

Alot of times I find my self low on cash because I always buy the colt or SSG and as much ammo as I can and then when I die I find myself spending a bunch more money the next round. And I end up so strapped all I can get is a handgun. I usually opt for the dual elites (T's) when money is low as they are cheap and you get more ammo then most guns.

Should I just stick with an MP5 (or equivelent) until I'm good enough to not have to be buying a new weapon every round?

When I'm low on cash I usually buy the armor then just stick behind my teammates and pick up someone else's weapon.
