Curious, why was this thread locked?

The thread was locked, but I don't see any bolded mob comments, and my reply was next-to-last, and if I said something wrong somehow, I would like to know. The only thing that I edited, was to add the part about reducing SYSTEM registry hive size, and booting faster. Nothing else was changed/deleted from my original post.

Or was that thread simply considered OT for GH, and should have been in OS or Software instead?

Aside from the others pointing out the obvious irony here, I don't care about post count. I was simply pointing out that who cares if it was locked, there was nothing left to say in the thread anyway. Took 4 posts to say the same thing.

Perhaps it should have been moved to software instead of locked? If anyone really worried they could just start a new thread in software.
