I have heard that Islam, like Christianity will forgive evil deeds but only first after every effort is made to destroy evil mercilessly and without compromise whereupon if evil is brought to it's knees and petitions for peace one and only one chance is given to make good on that repenting. Failing that, next time the punishment is death. Personally, this is far more in line with my temperament and why at least on this issue makes far more sense.

If what the Israelis are doing in Gaza is evil, you decide for yourself, I would say that long run Israel fucked itself. I don't think there's enough ammo in the world for 6 million to defeat a billion or more people who have faith in Islam. Did Israel become what it feared? Is Gaza a place full of captive starving people? Sadly the fascists of Israel, if that is what they are, will cause the deaths of those Jews who practice the real Jewish faith just as so many here are already paying for our own government's sins.
