Alright, Im 17, and Im a virgin. I intend to keep it that way till marriage. That's not the issue here I'm just getting it out of the way :p

To those men who have had sex both with and without a condom, what I want to know is:

1. Does it reduce pleasure?

2. If it does, is it noticeable?

3. If it really does, is it bad enough to *really* desire not to wear one?

4. Is the pull-out method really as ineffective as people say it is? (I'm guessing so since it's criticized so much)

5. Is the rumor true that it is more painful for a virgin female if the male has a condom on?

Once again guys, this is a *serious* conversation to someone who just wants some answers from people who have done it, not from the teen virgin who says hes gotten laid 10 times this past week..

1. Does it reduce pleasure? Hell Yes, by a huge amount

2. If it does, is it noticeable? See Above

3. If it really does, is it bad enough to *really* desire not to wear one? I have no desire to ever wear one but I'd rather not die from AIDS or knock some chick up

4. Is the pull-out method really as ineffective as people say it is? (I'm guessing so since it's criticized so much) Yes, it's called pre-cum

5. Is the rumor true that it is more painful for a virgin female if the male has a condom on? Not real sure on this one but my opinion would be yes as condoms are rather dry and friction is more thank skin on skin. Plenty of lube should solve that problem but I doubt a virgin female wants some Astro Glide on her cooch the first time she gets plowed

1) yes
2) yes
3) I've been with the same Woman for 10 years now so I haven't had to worry about it for a while! But if you are sleeping with someone you haven't been in a monogamous<sp> relationship with for a while I would definately use one!
4) Yes it is not effective. There is pre-ejaculation that can still make babies!
5) I don't know if I have heard this rumour, but I would say as long as you use some lubricant it wouldn't be much worse than having no condom on.

My experience would be as yours. I have no intention of sex till marriage (Yes, I'm human and I realize I could make a mistake... that's why I said *intention*).

Sooo.. to have it all one of us needs to get a vasectomy.. Eh.. kinda extreme considering a want a kid at some point. (No, I don't believe in BCP's, don't ask, it's not a topic I'm willing to discuss :p)

Okay, I saw your answer above about BCP's (I'm assuming Birth Control Pills). Is it just pills you don't like or any form on hormonal birth control? There are also other options like a Diaphragm

Pills I dont mind, as obviously society needs them :p We just prescribe them far too much :p

However, I am against all forms of Hormonal addition, subtraction, or replacement drugs. That's me :p

Ima go to bed now, it's late enough :p As to Diaphragms, I had thought of them, but I'm even more clueless about those :p How does one go about removing one when it goes in further than one's fingers? Either way, it's a viable option. I'm curious to know the downside though.. I mean, this give the best of both worlds to both partners. The male gets his pleasure, the female gets her protection. So the fact that condoms are still much more widely used is proof there has to be some downside :p

Either way, topic is still open. I'm going to bed

[Macho]Yes, I'm huge..[/Macho]

1. Does it reduce pleasure? Absolutely.

2. If it does, is it noticeable? Yes.

3. If it really does, is it bad enough to *really* desire not to wear one? I'd rather not get my SO pregnant, and she won't be on the pill for a few more months. Wear one. Always.

4. Is the pull-out method really as ineffective as people say it is? (I'm guessing so since it's criticized so much) Horribly ineffective and stupid. Research emergency contraceptives if you decide to go this route.

5. Is the rumor true that it is more painful for a virgin female if the male has a condom on? No clue. Never had sex with a virgin.

1. Yes, but so does genital warts...
2. Very noticeable
3. Only desired such with a ltr, after we were both tested and she was on the pill
4. It's not a method, it just does not work
5. Ummm. Dunno, only have been with one virgin and we used condoms. And.. Um.. everytime after that she was no longer a virgin so, unless I go on a virgin de-flowering spree, I can't really say.. I'll add that to my list of to-dos.

1. yes, amount depends on the type of condom used. I'll be honest I'm NOT always a super stud in bed, so sometimes less sensation is a good thing! (keeps me going)

2. I'll reply - at first, but it's like drinking beer, if you have enough weather it's Natural Ice, or Newcastle the end result is still the same. And half way thru you'll likely forget you're drinking a crappy Natural Ice - uhh sorry for the crappy analogy haha

3. Wearing a comdom is very unnatural, I don't see how any man can think other wise. For me, I use to have a b!tch of a time getting them on, I'd loose my ummm uhhh... you know, interest? haha, it was hard for awhile (no pun) to wear a condom and actually do the deed.

4. Anyone who uses it as a real method has issues, not to mention probably 4 or 5 kids.

5. depends greatly on the girl, my GF has some sort of nasty reaction to laytex, so condoms really do a number on her. With a good lubricated one, I don't think the female should notice. Of course since every woman is different and it's impossible for one female to experience both condom and non condom her first time, I dunno here...

Dude, "Saving yourself" strikes me as odd.. Enjoy trying different women. Don't be a ho but, seriously, the biggest thing I regretted about dating one girl for nearly 7 years was that I always wondered what other women would be like. It was a mixed blessing when we broke up, because I would have regretted getting married to her without knowing what it's like. Don't be mean spirited, date.. Enjoy yourself. Be respectful, and wrap it up. Besides, the likeliness of you finding a girl who's going to "save herself" are very slim now and, if they say that they did you'll kill yourself wondering if she's lying everytime you have a major fight.

Sex is not a mistake, sex is not a bad thing. Be safe and enjoy yourself :)

Man, I really appreciate the honesty in your post. Kudos to having a healthy enough self esteem to post what you did.

Yes, "less sensation" can be a good thing sometimes...

4. Um your a dumbass if you think its gonna work.
5. No idea but i think it would be better with out a condom as its flesh on flesh.

This is gonna sound insane, but i didn't mind wearing a condom at all w/ my ex. It helped me keep going for a while...
Truth be told, either i get too excitied too fast, or she was good, because no condom = me reaching point of no return far too fast.

That being said, she did much prefer no condom to one, which is interesting, since everyone's comments here are basically vice versa.
