Curious about a lock

Here's the thread. Do we honestly have to write a dissertation on every post? I really didn't quite have a whole lot to say after reading that article, but thought it was something worth sharing. Why was it locked? Was it due to the content of the article?

Anyway, I'm not trying to cause problems, just was legitimately curious what I did wrong there.

I didn't want to get banned for what I would have let loose with after reading that article, but eventually wanted to have a discussion about it.

And I suppose reposting it would be greeted with a million "R" posts.
