Cupidtino is a beautiful new dating site created for fans of Apple products by fans of Apple products! Why? Diehard Mac & Apple fans often have a lot in common – personalities, creative professions, a similar sense of style and aesthetics, taste, and of course a love for technology. We believe these are enough reasons for two people to meet and fall in love, and so we created the first Mac-inspired dating site to help you find other Machearts around you.
Cupidtino will launch in June 2010 exclusively on Apple platforms – Safari, iPhone and iPad apps. It’s time to share the love.

I like how they only allow people using Safari or other iProducts to access the site.

So while I can care less about a pretentious dating site, I did find this quote interesting:
. . . and of course a love for technology.

I see wording like that often with Apple products, however I always thought that if you actually, genuinely loved technology products you would stay the hell away from Apple products; the entire closed architecture, proprietary software, and so forth. Power users do not build Apple based systems (random Hackintosh being a rare exception) nor liked being locked into certain hardware & software specifications.

It is like Apple tends to cater to the poser geek, and not the true real geek.

Just yet another one of the many things that is pissing me off for the day.

I'm not above masquerading as an apple fan if the women are hot.

Aye. Really, as long as you can get your foot in the door not being a fanboy shouldn't be an issue. If the people are looking for relationships then I doubt the entire conversation would center on Apple products. If it did, then it prolly isn't worth your time.

So they're all brainwashed tech posers? Seriously, I doubt there is any single demographic measure or personality characteristic that is uniformly found among all Apple fanbois/girls. They're just overpriced, mass-produced, disposable consumer products for fuck's sakes. What a sad thing to base your entire existence around.

Maybe I should start a dating site limited exclusively to Toyota drivers. Sure to be lots of commonality and dating potential there 🙄.

id definitely pose as an apple fanboy for this. every hot chick i see is walking around with an iphone

I don't know about that. The relationship would probably speed out of control before you could put the breaks on it.

my favorite part is that they italicized "taste" because, ya know, only apple people have it. we are at douche factor 10.
