Cuomo has apparently claimed in front of group of people at the God's Battalion of Prayer Church, which is a Black congregation in Brooklyn, he makes the claim that the real cause for his downfall from the position of Governor was that he became a victim of "cancel culture". Cuomo furthermore stated that he is going to say the same thing, and as he stated in February, that his public behavior has "always been the same for the past 40 years". He also made a vow that he might politically comeback in the future. He even said the words, "they used cancel culture to effectively overturn an election."
In his speech in front of the crowd he also said, "I didn't appreciate how fast the perspectives changed. I've learned a powerful lesson and paid a very high price for learning that lesson. God isn't finished with me yet."
