Cuomo has apparently claimed in front of group of people at the God's Battalion of Prayer Church, which is a Black congregation in Brooklyn, he makes the claim that the real cause for his downfall from the position of Governor was that he became a victim of "cancel culture". Cuomo furthermore stated that he is going to say the same thing, and as he stated in February, that his public behavior has "always been the same for the past 40 years". He also made a vow that he might politically comeback in the future. He even said the words, "they used cancel culture to effectively overturn an election."

In his speech in front of the crowd he also said, "I didn't appreciate how fast the perspectives changed. I've learned a powerful lesson and paid a very high price for learning that lesson. God isn't finished with me yet."

How can you get a Master’s without a brain?

OK many of his threads are pretty lame but this topic strikes me as legit for discussion.

Cancel culture is indeed a problem, at times, but Cuomo got ousted not because of an overreaction to something innocent or even ambiguous. He was ousted because of a long pattern of inappropriate behavior towards female staffers. While he might be able to get away with picking apart any one of these incidents and claiming it was some sort of misunderstanding, there were just too many of them for it not to be a pattern.

He invoked God. He's going to switch party's and make his comeback as a republication.

Well.... now I don't feel so bad about my posts. :p

But really, why act so childish by personally dumping on the op? This aggression is third grade behavior at best.
THERE ARE OTHER OPTIONS.... YOU KNOW....
Just ignore the post, or disagree with the substance not the op, and the best option of all should an op or his post(s) so terribly offend you..... simply add them to your ignore list.
AnandTech DOES incorporate ignore lists.
I assume that I myself am on many ignore lists around here, and guess what? Fine and dandy, I say... fine and dandy. ;)

Yeah I think people were reacting based on his other threads. It's actually kind of amusing that Cuomo is using "cancel culture" as an excuse. He didn't say something borderline offensive on twitter and a bunch of people over-reacted. He was accused of making sexually inappropriate comments to 8 women who worked for him, and groping one of them. All of that was actionable as sexual harassment long before anyone ever heard the phrase "cancel culture."

I doubt Cuomo will switch parties. He comes from a legacy dem family in NY. His father would turn over in his grave. They'd hate him in NY even more than they do now. I guess he could move to Alabama?
