Seriusly, according to a report from Chistian News website, it stated that if the US had banned electric trains in the United states, the North East would have created enough excess energy to prevent Houston to go dark during that blizzard.
This is the dumbest fucking "report" ever. Texas has an isolated grid (their choice) so that "solution" would have done nothing.

Same thing here, RAM should be let go off, if I were the CEO of RAM I would not pay the fine.
The North East could have produced the electricity of a million suns and it would have done Houston no good. Texas chooses to not participate in the national electric grid. So either Christian News is lying to you or you are lying to us, which is it?

Edit: Do you know why Texas doesn't participate in the national power grid? It's because Texas power companies would have to meet reliability standards to hook to the grid and they don't want to invest the money, users be damned.

It almost looks like the utility companies helped in writing the laws. I'm so surprised.

What other states are on an isolated grid?
