cummerbund: yay or nay?

so my prom is tommorow.

just wondering if i should wear the cummerbund. I think it looks alrite, but alot of my friends aren't wearing them and i don't wanna look a dumbass. My bow tie and pocketsquare are jade green, which stands out a little [looks good], so in your opinion should i wear it. If it's a "normal" thing for the average person to do, and not for fat guys or whatever, then i'll go ahead, i just don't wanna look stupid.


another thing, anyone direct me to a site that says how to fold my pocketsquare?

I would NOT wear one. Its 2003, not 1983! i would opt for a vest. That way, you would look a bit more..... chic! Girls like the vest!

Personaally, I like tails JK, I would go for the vest, but if you don't have one, then the cumberband I think is better then nothing.

dam well, i have already ordered and collected it you see, so i can't get a vest now [unless i can find a black one or something]

looks like cummerbund is a no no , i'll try and get a vest, but if not i may aswell wear it, and if people gimmie shait i'll kick their asses or something

aren't you matching your date's dress? that's what some guys do in their bow tie/hankerchief/vest or cummerbund combo.
