CULV i5/i7

So I was wondering, beyond the upcoming iterations of the Asus UL80/30, when should we expect to see more ULV i5 and i7 laptops in place of the Core 2 Duo based CULV computers?

I would hope so, I don't think there's really anything stopping Intel technology-wise from bringing out CULV Core i3/i5/i7. I'm guessing the reason why they wouldn't is more for market reasons. It's cheaper to make culv C2D's and AMD doesn't even have an answer for those, so why would Intel push the next gen?

Sad (from an enthusiast standpoint), but that's what they do (better for Intel's short-term bottom line, thus stockholders). If there's no market to compete against, they are very lazy/slow to bring better technology around. Reason why there's virtually no improvements on the new Atom. No competition.

They already "launched" 3 CULV i5/i7 processors - the i5-520UM, the i7-640UM, and the i7-620UM (Going to be used in a few Acer Timelines and the aforementioned Asus computers). I wish more notebooks would be available with these, because as I think about my current needs as I start to look for a new laptop, I realize I don't really need super-graphics horsepower, and I wouldn't mind having something smaller/lighter but just as fast processor-wise.
