ANy chance something was dislodged/cracked when you had your ill-fated run-in with a curb during that snowstorm that bent up your wheels?

What? I live in Florida. No snow. Never hit any curbs. :-?

Also, it was the high pressure fuel pump. Replacement was installed this morning. She's waiting for me to come pick her up.

oddly enough I had that happen on my mk4 too. I would have suggested that but it seems as a far less common problem than wet coil packs. Glad you got it sorted

Got the car back. Drives normal again. I didn't really get a chance to "test" it because of school and morning traffic.

Apparently my car was giving 7bar of fuel when normal load is 40bar. D:

Did the fuel pump go out, or did the fitler get clogged?

I thought they had fixed the HPFP issues with the TSI engine. They were a big problem with FSI engines.

When my sister had a Audi I had to replace 3 coils... "I thought they had fixed the" coil problem. Then a fuel pump... "I thought they had fixed the" fuel pump issues. Then the dash was saying bulbs were burnt out but they were not "I thought they had fixed the" electrical issues. and on and on...
