CUBX VCore adjustment

NutBucket

I finally upgraded to a "good" BX board and currently have my Celly 566 --> 850. It did 1 ghz+ watercooled in a friend's system (BE6). I've got a modded PEP66 on it. Question is, I keep bumping the VCore setting in the BIOS but hardware monitor still reports it as ~1.52V. I've set it all the way up to 1.8 with the same result. I chaned the VIO jumper from 3.3 --> 3.6 and that registered fine. Any ideas as to why the core voltage refuses to rise?

Make sure that you upgrade your BIOS to the latest version.

The CUBX was known for having strange quirks with Celerons processors, that were not resolved even on the newer CUBX-E's until much later.
