Cubs Lose Cubs Lose......99 years and counting since a World Series Win

Shouldn't come as any surprise ... they were the weakest team in either league going into the playoffs & were totally overmatched by AZ.
 
I wish they'd let Mark Cuban buy the team. He's eccentric, but I think he'd be willing to do what's necessary to improve the club.

I don't think the suits are gonna let that happen, though.

Exactly. That's the very reason I don't like people saying the Cubs are "cursed." They're cursed by poor ownership and a lack of commitment to winning over the last near-century. A cursed team, to me, is one that gets tantalizingly close to winning it all, only to have their dreams shattered countless time by ridiculous things.

Face it, the Cubs have just been a bad team. This season they over performed and got slaughtered by a far better ball club.
