Can anyone point me in the direction of a good cube case? I am currently looking at the one made by YY-0221 from YeongYang. Any tips would be helpful. Thank you.

i suggest ebay. stalk around a couple of weeks and you can score some really good deals. i got a yeong-yang cube for $115 shipped about a year ago. pure bliss.

That was actually the mod that I am thinking about doing, except I want to add some of my own touches to it. I want to get a case that I can keep cool and have a room to move my hands around in the case. Damn my short, stumpy hands! Thanks for all your info.

I believe the case is metal but I am not sure.

I wouldn't want that other cube because of finger prints. :disgust:
What type of temps are you running on your YY Cube?

the yeong yang is a very very solid steel frame and doors with a plastic front bezel. its heavy and strong and can stay very solid avfter cuting off a lot of metal.

is the YY case worth getting? i want to mod it a little but it seems like a huge block of metal.... kinda heavy isn't it?

i wouldn't think of a full cube as exactly 'portable' regardless of which one you get.

i don't move mine around much so i don't care....

but... cubes are invaluable for setting up water cooling, which i have. plenty of room ;)
