For those of you who've reached 850 mhz; what voltage are u using to keep it stable at that speed? I have one at 1.65 on an MSI-6309.

Good slotkets do make a big difference. The lower voltage you can do it at the better.

Cell-2 566@850 at first it was only stable at 1.8 but after a few weeks it is now stable at 1.7 so crank it up burnit in then cranck it down. and if you see her tell her that i love her..........

892 @ 1.68 volts. I did'nt stay at 850 very long but I believe it was around 1.55 volts.

I tried more voltage, but didn't get any better results. been running at 1.65v for about 2 months now.

I had to crank my BE6-II up to 1.8v with a MSI slocket - the ABIT one I received with my system was DOA. A generic slocket wouldn't allow the bump in voltage to 1.8, so wouldn't boot at 850 (only to 1.75).

Now that I think about it - what IS the "stock" voltage for the C2-566 - 1.5? 1.65?

My system has been running 24/7 now for a few days, I'm going to lower the voltage to 1.75 and see if it's "burned in" enough to be stable. If so, I'll keep going down until I see instability - less voltage is better in the long run! ;-)

i have two celermine 566's:

Non guaranteed 566 = 850 @ 1.85
guaranteed 566 = 850 @ 1.65

guess some chips are better than others.

2 ea @952 and 1.85V. (Actually I haven't tried higher or lower voltage.) Heat sink probe measures 97F with case on and 78F ambient)

Mine will do 850mhz with air cooling at 1.5v. The low voltage is why i picked this chip.

Running a C2 566@850 with 1.7V. It does it at 1.65 but I would get lockups in games after a little while. I may try stepping back down to 1.65V at some point or getting more than a generic HS/Fan for the chip.
