CTX Notebooks

Hello all,

Does anyone know of any web sites with info on CTX Notebooks? I have the CTX links (www.ctxintl.com and ctxcomputers.com), but are there any with details on the notebook's motherboards or anything? I am wondering if my CTX EZ Book 700E 7A233 can be upgraded at all to a faster processor.

Thanks!

266 is teh max for that system. I have one. Its a decent little system that was dirt cheap (<$800 over a year ago.) If you pop off the cover to get at the processor, you will probably find that it is a 266 chip in there that they have clocked down to 233. The main issue is power but more importantly heat. I had mine clocked up to 266 but turned it back down after a couple days. The underside got very hot to the touch. Mileage will vary of course.
