CTSURMIX error with SB Live! card (Fixed) New Drivers out?

Ended up reinstalling windows.had some serious files mixed up.used the Liveware 3.0 from scratch and it installed fine.but is there newer drivers out then whats on the LiveWare 3.0 software?

Just went back to Win98SE after using XP for a few days.
the SoundCard was working fine with no problems with XP,but now Win98SE is giving me a prob.

i finally got the soundcard working, but getting an error after installing the LiveWare 3.0 and trying to access the Speaker setting in the AudioHQ settings. (Was getting same error while in the Mixer settings as well, but reinstall of drivers seemed to fix it)

(CTSURMIX executed an invalid instruction in module <unknown>)

got same error before but with the Module of a .dll file.

i think i may just be installing this card wrong.
i installed reg drivers with a file called "sblw9xup.exe".
that got the Soundcard working, but then tried to install the LiveWare 3.0,and thats when i get the error when trying to use the AudioHQ settings (just speaker settings now).

if anyone knows what the prob may be,or maybe how i can wipe anything to do with the SoundCard out and start over the right way,i'd appreciate it.

XP installed default with only the 1 SB Live! speaker at bottom.
now i have the Default speaker, plus the SB Live! speaker after installing LiveWare 3.0.

Specs:

Win98SE
SB Live! (CT4760) 5.1 Gamer

Thanks for any help.

which pci slot is it in? try putting it in pci slot 5 after uninstalling it from device manager, then reboot and reinstall drivers, see if that helps.

/edit, are you running a via chipset? tried the latest 4 in 1's? have you made sure the drivers you are using aren't for xp but are for win 98?

DaiShan, Its in PCI 2 right now.
PCI 5 is blocked by my Crystal Orb on my Vid card.

just been messing with the sound and it don't seem to sound as good as when i had XP installed.
i believe the drivers i'm using isn't right.

what drivers should i use?
can't find nothing on Creative.com.
just an update for a player or some sort.

the ones i found was on Driverguide.com,and also found the LiveWare 3.0 on there as well.

a link of some sort with the right Drivers/Software i need would be appreciated.

and yes,i installed the 4in1 Drivers.

MS-6330 Board.

I will try to find you a link, normally the closest to the end of the board the better for sound cards (with the exception of pci slots 4 and 6 as they share irq's with the usb ports)

as promised from creatives site, Also, I would just install the drivers from the disk that came with it, they will work in 9x (if you need these files, I can rip them from my driver disk and send them to you)
