Bleh CSI. I like Miami better than the regular and I'm actually looking forward to NY because I really like Sinise.

I really like CSI.. CSI: Miami is just lame. I didn't realize just how many shows like this there are now. CSI, CSI: Miami, All of the Law and Orders, Without a Trace, etc.

Original CSI is the best. I like the fact that they are pretty much no-name actors (cept Marg who has been in a ton of B movies).

The only people KILLING CSI are the fvcking actors themselves.

They got too greedy, and now their acting careers will tank because of it.

Ha. Looking forward to NY with Sinise.

CBS signed them to 7 year contracts when the show was not even on the air, and now the show is highly rated all the actors want is a peice of the pie they helped with.
Like when Seinfeld, Cheers, etc... shows did the same thing. You don;t make much when the show first starts but if it gets good then EVERYBODY should get paid for their part.

Now if the actors were smart they would do like "Friends" and ALL get together and stick together. That way it is a take it or leave it all.

This is CBS being gready, period.

I tend to agree. CBS is doing this just because they can.

They were still under contract until 2007 though, they really have no claim to more money (however much they may deserve it). Trying to go on strike mid way through a contract is completely illegal.

Other show that's basically the same is NAVY:NCIS. That's a pretty cool show too. Basicaly CSI in the Military. I love watching both CSI's and NCIS but I never remember when they are on and just watch them if I happen to come across them while flipping channnels.

Welcome to the US. Contracts only hold true for normal people. Actors and Athletes don't have to abide by the terms of their contracts.

I agree that asking for more money mid-contract is pretty shady, but so is giving them a (possibly) crappy 7 year contract. After 7 years the show will probably be on its way out and renegotiating for a higher salary will be nearly impossible. I would like to see the terms of the contract.

Disagree with them getting a 'crappy' contract?! Look, it's not like cbs told them to sign the contract or they would murder their families.

1) I said "possibly" crappy. I don't know the terms, and neither do you.
2) Would you have turned down the job because of a contract dispute? Most actors in hollywood would kill for a part in a big budget show on a major network. This gives all the negotiating power to the network executives.
