cs1.6 issue

ever since i bought my 7800gs i couldnt get framerates higher then 60 in CS 1.6.. myu 9800 pro did 120 with ease and even if i toggle fps max_190 or something in console it still says at 60... this bugs me because cs isnt an intense game at all... advice?

This is because vertical sync is on.

Turn it off in your graphics card options. 🙂
Or force a frequency via launch options.

-freq "monitorhertzmaxforthatresolutionhere"

yep disable vsync, your monitor is set at 60hz thus limiting your hardware to 60fps.
