The only game I have been playing for over a year is HL2 Deathmatch/Team Deathmatch. Been doing leagueing along with my clan and having the time of my gaming life nearly nightly.

The main problem with cs:s and I assume cs is that the majority of the players are whiny sh|tbags. If they're not calling everyone gay while spraying a picture of a guy with a bottle up his ass on the wall, they're accusing you of hacking every time you kill them.

One thing I don't like about cs is that the shotgun kind of stinks in it. Its deadly when people don't have body armor and helmets, but its horribly weak when everyone has them. And everyone has them after a couple rounds. I've always been good with shot guns in FPS, and I can be really, really dangerous on maps like iceworld where many people don't have body armor on.

Find a good server. They exist, where the admin(s) do a very effective job of keeping the playing atmosphere enjoyable. You'll get the occasional immature brat and obscene sprays, but they'll kick/ban them if they keep it up.

i dunno, a point blank shotgun blast(non auto) kills, a hs kills, but from a distance u probably need two shots.

I wouldnt say that, I didnt play anything during summer so I can quit
Before I started playing CS:s I played other games the same amount of time, but now I get bored after 5 minutes playing any other game.

I heard some people say to pull your mouse down as you fire full auto to help control the recoil.

its more fun once you understand the weapons sprays. there was a glass map for the original cs where there were walls that would have panels turn red on impact and such. better than looking at the bullet marks which are random and don't match, atleast in original cs, i dunno about cs source. also let u see effects of movement on accuracy and such, nice stuff. wonder if theres a version for cs source?
