CS:S stuttering!!!

Well I havent played source in sometime since ive been playing other games but I decided to play it and now it stutters and freezez for a few seconds while im getting shot at.
I know there was an update a couple of weeks ago so maybe that might've screwed it up.
Other games run just fine. This is the same stuttering that was happening when the game was first released. So what the ****** is up with valve ?

Anyone else experiencing this ****** ?

2 gigs of ram
3500+ a65

its ur comp, likely the sound card. the game's perfectly fine.

no idea, i reinstalled my windows(other reasons) and when i tried my cssource without reinstall it did stutter like it was hitting sudden lag😛 i tried resintsall in same directory with no delete. problem remained. i reinstalled in another directory, problem dissapeared. go figure.
