CS:S crosshair gets "lost" in bright areas in dust 2, fix?

I use a big green arrow that never gets lost.

Anyone figured out a good way to put a crosshair on your screen for LCD screens? I've tried scotch tape + marker, but never works well, always cloudy and throws my vision off.

Plastic food wrap? Would be a pain to cut to size, but would stick on and be pretty easy to see through

I know Nvidia has something built into their drivers that will do it. It's meant to fix crosshairs that get screwed up when playing in 3D though, so I'm not sure if it will work for regular 2D gaming.
