CS question

I know that other ppl are having this problem but i don't know y. Any time that I alt-tab out of a CS match, My sound goes out. Anyone have any clueson how to fix it, or know why this happens?

yes

use gamespy

if you use gamespy and join a server, when you alt-tab out and come back, you wont have sound, but if you hit esc and then resume, the sound comes back

bottom line

use gamespy

I foud that using the windows key on the keyboard helps. Use it to get out of CS to the desktop, and then just click back on the HL in the tray to go back. Dunno why, but it works for me.

lol, consider yourself lucky. Every time I try to alt tab out of counterstrike, my whole system just freezes. Hopefully my soon to arrive Radeon will fix that, but I'm not overly bothered if it doesn't
