CS Cheaters everywhere!!!

It's been a while since i've played CS, and I just fired up my machine last night for some good old fashion fun. I almost fell off my chair laughing when I saw 3-4 players using the run cheat and killing everyone. I tell ya, it's damn hard to shoot a fast moving target. Anyways I migrated from server to server and it seems that there is atleast one person using some kind of cheat, even the no cheat servers!

Please no anti-CS flames.
 
there's a bunch of cheaters playing Team Fortress as well 🙁

I was playing on a public server last night, map as highrise. One guy on my team was using the speed cheat... He couldn't make it through those two sets of doors near the CT spawn point. Kept running back and forth between them. Admin was there and kicked him out after a few minutes. I hate cheaters. I have that invis fix installed on my game so the helicopter on oilrig is all kinds of trippy colors.

Why cheat? Everyone knows you're cheating and won't respect your score. It does you no good. It just gets people pissed at you and your WON ID banned from servers.
 
I've seen that freaking Speed cheat like 10 times today, it sucks ass. My favorite server has been ruined due to that crap.

I was playing on PASSWORDED servers and fags were breakin in and usin the god-damned speed cheat, and in TFC its even worse, fu.cking HW is unstoppable..
 
sigh...i saw it last night too on every server that i played. Some of my team mates were using it too...if i could i would've TK'd their asses

took me 1 hour to hop around different cs servers to find 1 server that did not have cheaters there. then i spent over 2 hours hopping around tfc servers and i still did not find a single one that had cheaters. apparently they go to the largest servers in an attempt to empty it out and i gotta admit. they are doing a good job of it.

after i got so frustrated, i decided to look for the cheat. i found a forums site that was devoted to spreading cheats and boy was it huge. this guy named kimbo or something like that seems to be like the red dawn of computer forums. he is everywhere, in every one of the forums i checked in addition to that one. i found 4 forums but only one seemed to be active.

DO NOT ASK ME FOR THE CHEAT! i will not help promote it. if you want it so bad, then shame on you.
 
I've started seeing it on Day of Defeat servers, too. I hope Valve releases a fix PRONTO. Plus, I hope admins start playing on their servers a little more to ban the little sh|ts.
 
Yup, that speed cheat is everywhere and it's ruining CS and TFC. If Valve doesn't fix it, say good bye to TFC, CS, and every other HL mod.
 
I haven't played in a game in a week where someone hasn't been using the speed cheat. Fir3wir3, maybe you know what I'm talking about now? I don't think it's the w2k speed cheat.

its not a win2k thing cuz i ran it fine on 98se, ME as well as win2k. it's just a regular program. apparently, it takes advantage of some netcode that valve left in the half life engine and some asian guy found out and wrote this program. it spread around the world in a matter of days. apparently, some versions have a trojan virus on them because the program was getting so popular, it turned out to be a great medium to spread viruses.

i hope most of these speed cheaeters have the trojan ones...:|

If you really like playing tfc (sounds like you do) I'm opening a public server on an oc3 (1ghz athlon 1gb ram) system that will be moderated by myself and many other friends. so any cheater will be kicked right away.

Also, get gamespy and search for &quot;punkbuster&quot; and use f3 to cycle through all the servers taht use punkbuster and connect through there.
