Is it a good cooler for a Geforce4 ti4200? I was taking my heatsink on the gpu off today to apply some thermal compound and one of the pins broke off rendering my heatsink useless. thanks for your replies:)

Well, not entirely useless; I'm sure you could get at least $5 for it on the FS forum - it can still be attached using thermal adhesive like ASII epoxy. I don't know much about the Crystal Orb though, sorry; just thought I'd put in that thought though.

Yeah I have used them on several cards and
they work great, don`t know how well they
will line up on your ti4200 though. You could
use an adhesive but it may void the ole warranty.

I really like the Crystal Orbs, after they've been lapped down to the copper core.

Why not just use some small zip (cable), ties to fasten the other side of your HS down? Run one through the HS/card hole, use another on the backside to zip it down tight.

See HERE how I zipped some Crystal Orbs onto my V5 card > http://www.geocities.com/blain450/Zippedorbs.JPG

The small black things against the card are very small O-rings to help hold pressure. The orange things are just little fiber washers to spread out the load on the O-rings.
