Crystal Orb and Radeon 8500

Anybody have any ideas as to how to safely remove the heat sink and crummy fan from the 8500. I removed the 4 screws holding the fan on and the Crystal Orb doesn't mate well. Any ideas how to get the heat sink off. It appears to be one with the chipset (please tell me i'm wrong)

i have removed the heatsink off my geforce2mx by freezing it for a little bit, and then by putting a screwdriver between the gpu and hs. Lightly giving it a little twist, and it popped off, hope this works.

use the credit card trick, slide it between the HSF and the PCB (act as a protector), and twist a flat head screw driver

If you don't like the idea of freezing, just play some games for awhile so the card gets nice and hot. Then pop the fan off.

Fits quite nicely and cools great. The stock fan is absolute crap
