Crystal Chronicles

Gamecube games will only work with a Gamecube.

gameboy advance games will work on a GBA or a DS/DS Lite.

DS games will only work on a DS.

Damn...I bought that game for FULL PRICE when it first came out (even reserved too). Man was I disappointed...

What? Most GBA games work on a DS. The whole premise behind Crystal Chronicles is that you like GBA's up to your gamecube for multiplayer. Therefore, since you can play most GBA games on the DS, why wouldn't a DS work?

Do you know how the GC & GBA connect?

I can't find any info that says the DS will work with the game, so I'm guessing it won't.

It's a cable that the GBA uses to connect to the cube like a "controller". But you actually view the game via the GBA little screen. I thought it would be a cool game because we have our good friends 5 year old little girl over at the house , and she likes to play games...and this was a better idea for her to play on her GBA than her sitting around playing Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas on either of my PS2's......we never really got into it thought , I've got the cable sitting with my controllers.
Yes she's played it , and she likes it....she thinks it's fun to jerk someone out of their car and joyride it until it's ready to blow up , and jump out and do it again.....
I'm warping the youth of our country.....I know I know.

Yea, did some reading and looks like although the DS can play GBA games, it cannot link to other GBA's or the Gamecube.
