WHERE'D THEY GET THE DRIVERS?!?!?!?!?

I have seen thread after thread asking for drivers for their 8800's and Vista. Then, I see this thread and am now confused... What did I miss?

(BTW: It's late and I have to go to work in the morning, so yes, I skimmed the thread... Sue me if I missed something, even something blatant)

Developers have had access to NVIDIA beta drivers for a while now. Heck I bet they even had access to alpha drivers just to start working on DX10 games ASAP.

This article says that they were running it on a single core processor. Linky

Well... the 7600GT is DX9 and not D3D10 so it won't be nearly as efficient...

alll looks cool............but then i forgot i gotta buy vista..............
Yeah, it's quite a big expense to forget to add ontop of the cost of a D3D10 card. I am actually somewhat interested in Vista at the moment, though. From what I've seen and been told by a friend of mine who uses it solidly, yes it does indeed use more memory etc, but it puts it to better use and feels a lot more responsive and powerful than XP.
