"The fragility of the terrain means you can see at a glance ?Oh yeah, that?s where my jeep exploded.? Areas that aren?t flat and black tend to be areas you haven?t been to yet."

Hehe... lots of explosions :D

The sheer creativity and making a serious game also a fun shooting game...if they can pull it off It will likely be one of the best FPS in history and make HL2...well...history.

I can only imagine of how much work they put into this game. I'll , with many others, be praising cytek for years for raising the bar. Though it seems once the bar is raised...no one is there to follow anyway.

This game is gonna be unreal. I'm giddy. I'm a grown man and I think I'm gonna skip work and buy this game release day.....

I feel ya brother.

You have no idea how much I want to do that.

..But I'm saving it for Starcraft 2.

A rehash of an old game? Don't get me wrong, I'm waiting for it too. But, its just not as exciting as Crysis.

In either case, Crysis is coming out this year and Stracraft isn't. Don't tell me it takes you more than a year to save up $50... :)

Wow, they are going with some humor in Crysis? Amazing, I don't recall hearing about that at all before. This kind of stuff really appeals to me. I like when developers take the approach of "We don't know why anyone would want to throw live chickens at people, but we've added the feature" it gives the game a lot more depth and hell, it may spring you out of an ugly situation and leave you with an awesome story.

Why the hell do you want watercooling? It's only good for Overclocking. I have an x1900xt, standard aircooled, and I don't have any noise problems.

I have no fans in my system atm. So, it is silent. A 8800 will bring the noise!!! I can get a nice passive water cooling system for that though.

Oh, well, go for it.
The thing about Crysis I don't like is that suit. It seems rather gimmicky, and it looks kinda dumb. Especially for the Multiplayer, when you're playing and the Koreans/Chinese have these suits as well. I mean wtf, that's gunna be a bit weird.
But folks from Games for Windows magazine, after playing the MP, have said this looks like a battlefield killer.
I just hope it has a lot of diverse and varied vehicles!

nope it's also pretty good for noise reduction while you overclock. With my setup the temp never rises above 50C when the ultra low noise fans run at 30%, only after several hours of gaming do they reach 50% to stay under 50C and they are still inaudible.

no, it's just a piece of metal with some fans moving air through them. The pump in the system makes a small sound, but the noisiest parts of my system are my harddrives.

My 8800GTX isn't very noisy.

"The aliens? cryogenic weaponry can freeze any of you in your tracks. Centrally heated nanosuit supersoldiers such as yourself can shake off the ice with a brisk wiggle of the mouse, but Korean soldiers in their breezy fatigues aren?t so lucky. If they get frozen, they shatter, and the shards of their icy flesh become lethal shrapnel"

Can't wait to see icy flesh shards...

Can't wait for everyone to complain that you can't run it above 3fps without everything turned off and scaling the rez down ;)

Wow, what can I say? This looks awesome.

My favorite part though was that they are going to make the ending really scary...

This isn't going to be a game... it's going to be an experience.
