I think I'll be a buzz kill.
Has anyone noticed that they are going so far out of their way to make the lighting look pretty that its actually become annoying?
I really didnt think the super-shiney HDR efffects in Lost Coast and Oblivion were cool at all. They were irritating and unpleasant to view and not terribly realistic.
Granted with those games you can turn it off, but it will probably become the standard soon and I dont like it.
Looking at Crysis pics confirms my worst fear. They made the glare on the shack so cool that its more intense than the photo. I dont like that. If they want to impress with visual quality then they should improve the quality and leave the intense crap to Hollywood.
I dont know why I said all that. Probably because I was expecting some poon last weekend and I didnt get it. And I'm still mad. :|

Very nice. I can't wait, though, for when they can do grass convincingly.

I agree with that. I do like some of the HDR, a nice normal looking glow is cool. But sometimes there's just way too much glare.

I fourth this sentiment. HDR is the new fad and I'm not sure I like it.

dual x1900's couldn't even give it a steady 60fps.
The game's for Vista and DX10 cards.
