I am currently running Xp 32 and want to play crysis in dx10. I read that crysis is highly optimized for 64bit and should run about 20% faster. I plan on upgrading to vista anyways since i have a 32bit copy. But should i buy a oem copy of vista 64?

Also, how would the 8800gts fare at a resolution of 1024x768 maxed out in dx10 (no aa)? how about 1280x720? would it be reccomended i sell my 320mb version and get the 640mb version? The beta was smooth at high (very high is greyed out). but how would dx10 and very high affect this game at the resolutions i play at.

under the nda, i cant give out much info on how crysis runs for me, sorry i couldnt give you the fps i was getting.
if crysis runs smooth at 1024x768, im getting a 22inch monitor. hence why i asked the 1280x720 questions.

you're in the beta and you're asking us? rofls. people in the beta (myself included) would know best if anything. since the beta is only DX9, one cannot say for sure. go off of your system specs, expect optimization before release. the demo is coming in a month - play that and see how it goes. and above all else

wait for benchmarks!!!!!
