Crysis and Gamespy!

Zone alarm detects gamespy as spyware or a trojan. I find gamespy annoying and disruptive and there are always at least 3 other start up services installed with it!

DO i need gamespy for crysis multiplayer? And why is it still detected as spyware?

It won't let you play unless you log in with a gamespy username? how do you get around it? I just logged into my old account and thought nothing of it.

The Crysis installer installs Gamespy Comrade, doesn't give you the option to disable.

yes it does. It asks you if you want to install gamespy. This is via the custom install. Not the easy install. Maybe it doesnt ask in the easy install option

I promptly Uninstalled it following my installation of Crysis.
