Crysis and "Download Manager"

How do i run Crysis without reinstalling this shitty EA Download Manager software?

I bought it from the EA download site. Im totally legit and EA wont reply to my query.

I get a lot of Windows Explorer hangups now. Shitty software is shitty.

Never needed the dowload manager for Crysis, however they forced me to download it for Spore. It's a POS I agree, but it hasn't caused any irregularities with my system yet.

Sorry, can't really help, just sympathizing.

That's the EA I remember best. Jordan vs Bird, Bards Tale, Pinball
Construction Set, Starflight, Racing Destruction Set, etc etc. They have
surely lost their way.

Is Crysis showing up on the games list in the download manager as playable?

I also bought it from their online store, uninstalled the download manager, couldn't play, and then reinstalled it and played.

After turning off the auto-start, it's not worse than having Steam turn on when I play TF2 (of course EA download manager's only function is DRM unlike Steam).

Well, it took two months (literally) and 20+ emails for EA to get my BF2142 Deluxe working. (AND I didn't even buy the game from EAshit Manager. I had retail copies but they didn't work for some reason, so EA was like "here this will fix it" and I had to download the whole game from EADM. After that, it still didn't work, so I emailed again and again and then finally it randomly started working)

Guess you better get started
