Crysis - $29.99 with Coupon @ Best Buy

@Pwntcomputer, I just finished it on my iMac. It's probably realy CPU intensive, which is dragging your performance down. Might also need more than 1 gb of ram. Your GPU is better than the ATi x1600 mobile I was playing on, and it was plenty playable up until the end boss who dragged my framerate into the single digits (causing me to die repeatedly).

The weapon system was pretty cool, although the scopes were almost entirely "strictly better" instead of each having a particular use. I went the entire game without using the grenade attachment.

Well.. I now have Crysis downloading through a torrent. Tried to go legit, but yeah.. their lose, not mine. 🙂

So it's Crytek's fault BB wouldn't honor the coupon? 😕

Admitting you are a thief at least exhibits some level of honesty, but dreaming up such a weak excuse only to clear your conscience is just pathetic.

Definitely YMMV. I had no luck at my local BB as two CSRs wouldn't budge as I tried to convince them that Crysis was a videogame.

Best Buy is really splitting hairs, aren't they?

They are just a bunch of dishonest morons who won't honor their own coupons. It's without a doubt a video game. It's played on a video monitor using a video card. It's certainly not a boardgame.

btw the problem with the coupon and crysis is that crysis is already on sale. They should not honor the coupon so it is 'their' mistake if they do....

What does that have to do with it? It's exlusions include things like open boxes and clearance, it says nothing about sale items therfore it should be honored.

They always do this. In their systems, PC Games are software, not video games. I've always had very good success in getting the CSR to override the coupon and manually take the $10 off, but the system will initially reject the coupon because you aren't buying a "video game".

They have at times had $5 off PC Games over $19.99 coupons as well, which wouldn't work on console games.

Read coupon. It excludes items on sale.

Newegg $45 - $9(20% Paypal) = $34 shipped

No need to jump through hoops at BB trying to get them to take a coupon that clearly doesn't apply to this PC game.

Paypal 20% off is long dead my friend.

Went to best buy last night and bought Crysis. The sign said 49.99 now. At the register it rang up at 59.99. I bought a bunch of junk and didn't realize it until i got home.. now i have to go back and try to get them to fix it .. i hate best buy (but not as much as bestbuy.com).

They rejected the coupon because the game was already on sale...So I bought a game for my son's DS for xmas with it.

What sucks is that this coupon was around for a couple of weeks and I didn't know about it when I dropped $60 on Mass Effect last week. 🙁 I won a $10 GC today at work and with this, I can get Marvel Ultimate Alliance SE for $10. Not bad, but still would've been nice to have last week. I'm hoping someone puts Mass Effect on sale before Christmas so I can PM. Did that last year with Gears of War and Rainbow Six Vegas.
