Should i get it pc or console? I was kinda leaning towards console because more of my friends use them and it prolly will hav more ppl on multiplayer. but then I saw some amazing pics of crysis 2 pc:awe::awe: and i also like 360 controllers more than keyboard and mouse, but i heard u can use 360 on comp 😱
 
In my opinion the crysis franchise is first and foremost an eye candy benchmark, with average, but enjoyable game play, so getting a console would defeat the whole purpose of the game, which is to make you go "holy shit DID YOU SEE THAT EXPLOSION???".

And there's nothing wrong with that, just as long as this stays confined to crysis.

That being said, you should probably still wait for the final release and official hardware reviews. No sense buying a new video card in the dark and then finding out that it was too weak to max out the game.

depends one what your used to. it took me forever to get used to using a kb/m and to this day i find it for more uncomfortable position than laying back with a pad. i use 360 pad on my PC when i can. FPS games are the only ones with much advantage but if you get used to high sensitivity settings of a gamepad, you can turn around just as quick.

playing MP on my PS3, in resitance 2, i can do headshots pretty easily
 
If you care at all about how the graphics look, then get the PC version. You can probably use a controller with the PC version if you want.
 
I've always been a console player, so i guess i'll stick with console 4 this 1 😛 If i see theres a huge diff between console and pc ill just get pc nd wait for battlefield 3 console

How you could possibly think that FPS games control better with a controller is beyond me.. Besides the fact that KB + M is always better for FPS games, you'd be missing the whole point of Crysis by getting it on a console. The point of Crysis is for the graphics to be over the top, and that's about it. The game really did nothing else new; just bumped the graphics up a notch more than anyone else did. Crysis is pretty much Halo, but you can choose what abilities to use when and the graphics are a lot better. Halo had overcharge shield, invisibility, and a power suit way before Crysis was ever thought of.

Halo FTW. I hav all the halo games 😀 except for the pc 1s... cant find'em anywhere
 
It's up to you, for console I think is more simple to adjust the graphics quality (there will be no lag). Conversely, if you have a PC, and your PC specs are low, you will be annoyed at having to play Crysis 2 with low settings (and this is pretty bad). But, if you have a PC with high specifications, will be more fun than a console, because you will be able to play it with high or even maximum settings, and of course the quality of graphics produced by a console game will not be able to match max settings on a PC.
 
keyboard / mouse is better for me than console controllers

additionally, the hardware in my PC absolutely buries hardware in the 360 and ps3 so I'd rather play it on PC

I ddnt even build it yet 😛 thats y i was asking. I picked X2 cuz i read that u can unlock it to get a quad core. and 5770 because its not too much $$ nd seems pre good. i was hoping 2 get in the middle of midrange - high settings.

You should see the videos of gameplay from the leaked build on YouTube.

It plays exactly like a console game, linear as hell. On top of that, the graphics look worse than the first Crysis.

Not really hilarious anymore, sad to say.
