Guess my pc will murder this game

You PC will murder ANY game 😀

Jebbus! That's a $^%$ing rig. I should hope that thing can handle Crysis 2...

That being said, I don't think Crysis2 is really going to be the graphics hog like Crysis was. Crytek's main focus was making this game cross-platform, and not really pushing the graphics boundaries of the PC as they did with Far cry and Crysis.

I think when it's all said and done Crysis 1 will have been the more demanding game. Set in New York, with all those tall skyscrapers that limit what needs to be shown, it's a step back.

I would have to agree here. I wasn't under the impression that the new CryEngine sought to take Crysis' graphics a step further, but rather make it more accessible to those with non-godlike machines (the game is multi-platform, after all). Rendering tons of foliage in a tropical jungle seems a much more daunting task for video cards as opposed to rendering urban areas.

Am surprised they even allowed XP DX 9. The industry is pushing hard for a proper 64 bit OS with DX 11.
I wanted to play Just Cause 2 and cant. Thought I would expect someone made a hacked DX 11 that works under XP, and theres probably a way to spoof the game into thinking its running in Win 7.

i wouldn't call that smug at all.

btw, Sin, have you had a chance to drive the 2012 GTR? hell, i bet the 2009 is a blast. the thing defies the goddamn laws of physics 😀😀😀

Not yet, but im thinking about trading the 09 in for it if i like it. Apparently they are having an upgrade package deal for gt-r owners. so im gonna check it out.
