ok I agree BF3 looks absolutely amazing (though I'd like to see the final product to be sure it'll really look like that...doctored trailers have happened numerous times before...still I'm very impressed) but seriously people are going on here like C2 is 'paper bag' level ugly..or that the game won't be worth buying because it isn't the most visually impressive release on the market...

Honestly I never really got into Crysis 1...I need something more than graphics to get me to buy a game...But I'm seriously looking forward to Crysis 2...It has one of the best Sci-Fi writers around doing the plot for it...a man who specializes in dark violent dystopian cyberpunk...the perfect fit for a good sci-fi action game.. So what if it's not the next benchmark for pretty graphics? Do we really want another game released that we have to wait 2 years to get affordable hardware to be able to run it on decent settings?

I never got into Crysis, but I do think people who are bagging FarCry are being entirely unfair ;) That game was, and remains, bloody awesome :)

The graphics still look very nice some 6+ years after it came out, the vast, open level structure is great fun, and I have to admit that Trigens still give me a scare after a few too many brewskis ;)

FarCry was great until the mutants appeared.:\

Looks good but blow those up to 1080p+ and at 30-60fps, and its meh.
I agree that the demo isn't inspiring a lot of incentive to buy the game.

Also i hate how much more mainstream it is this time around.
And the 3 settings for specs.. If that's in the actual game then I may just have to unload an uzi in the general direction of an executive :sneaky:
