I hate be the one to ruin your day, but I'm seeing this issue on Nvidia cards here. :|

Have we discussed whether this is the Steam or non-Steam version of Crysis?

edit: I'm playing the Steam version -- I reinstalled back to vanilla, and have no sky blooming. I'm testing right at the beginning, just before you go down to take out the radar jammer, and daylight starts to break -- when I had mods in place, I had noticable sky blooming at this spot. Going to try adding mods one by one to see which one causes it to occur.

Edit: just for grins, try either disabling motion blur in your autoexec and system files (r_MotionBlur=0) or setting it to 3.

Wow well that makes me sad.

The issue seems to be exacerbated by mods. It's actually there without mods, just MUCH harder to notice. You can notice it the most in the map Awakening though. I just use the console to skip through and test. I'm guessing it wont be as bad on certain levels.

Highly disappointing though that such an old game has issues. Then again, a lot of software aspects changed so maybe just not compatible anymore. I dunno though of course.

@monster 88
I was unaware. They game does look MUCH better though with the textures I feel. Or maybe it's just the autoexec file. But when I have all mods on, it looks much more realistic.

It's amazing how good Vanilla crysis looks if you have the rig to run it full go with some AA.

Ya still looks good. The new textures addon makes it look much better IMO. I can't wait to play 2033 and Last Light. Or I can actually, I'll probably cry.

I'm really not having that bad of a problem with it with the setting at 3.

Just need to get my TOD mod installed now and I think I'm all set. I also threw in an advanced particles mod that I might mess around with once I get to the point in the game where it can shine.

I've got it looking absolutely beautiful now, after installing the TOD mod tonight. I'm averaging about 1.8Gb of VRAM usage at 1200p.
