A little birdy told me that Cryptolocker deletes originals and creates encrypted copies so that there is a chance undelete software can restore originals. YMMV :whiste:
 
Not sure, haven't had a test case since we implemented the SRP. I chalk it up more to raising awareness in our clients because they were the ones duped into opening eerily innocuous looking e-mail attachments.
