DOGE 24hr volume is off the charts

1) BTC : $29M
2) DOGE : $8.2M
3) LTC : $6.1M

Is DOGE the first coin to pass LTC (even if briefly) in volume since LTC became the so claimed crypto silver?
 
Doge network hashrate was over 65000 MH/s (65 GH/s) earlier today. Still over 60 GH/s.

That's almost reaching LTC network hash rate (69 GH/s currently).
 
wtf I'm sold the rest of my stash at .0000014 and thought I made out well but it keeps going up. FML I think I've lots about 20k doges getting in and out at the wrong time.

I think most people realized that it is more profitable to mine doge over LTC, both short term and (we just recently witnessed) it would be profitable long term as well. The profitability margin might have decreased between the two, but if doge keeps going to the moon at this rate and LTC continues with the stagnant price and increasing difficulty, we can easily expect the network hashrate of doge to surpass LTC.

In other news... Doge difficulty is up nearly 100 in less than 24hrs! D:

20k doges isn't much. Heck, I have about 20k stuck on netcodepool. I regret selling my initial 70k stash for around 0.01 btc 🙁

Can someone describe the most common pronunciation of Doge?

I imagine in my head DOH-GAY

but I have only read the word, never spoke or listened to it. I could also see doh-jay, dohjuh, dohguh, etc., but keep coming back to doh-gay.
 
I'm buying another 290 with the money I made off of doge. So glad I didn't go Nvidia this time. It ended up being more luck than anything though, prices exploded soon after I ordered. I almost ended up with a 770. :thumbsup:
 
Looks like Doge is going to be #4 in marketcap soon, overtaking Namecoin..

I *should* really buy a lot now before it goes even more crazier, but because i sold so many at 40 satoshi.. my brain refuses to click buy when its going for 140 satoshi.. selling low and buying high! What madness!
 
Holy f*ing crap!!!! Doge went up nearly 100% from last night!

I sold 200k for ~6LTC even though lowest at that time was under 5 LTC for 200k, now it is worth 10LTC!!! D:

I sure as hell feel sore now :'(
 
Has anyone ever had a deposit going into Cryptsy not make it? Was only 10k Dogecoin, but still would like to be able to trade it. The transaction was placed about 12 hours ago.

I used coinedup. Most of my transactions have been fairly quick.

I just checked and my two 7950's are currently generating around .29 LTC a day, and you dodge guys post and make me feel like i'm ripping myself off. 😉
 
For all the DOGE haters, this is happening with almost 33 billion coins mined. This is no "first week low supply pump". A pump and dump it is, but this one is so much more meaningful than that first one.

And plus, Cool Runnings 2 is now in the making with the Jamaican bobsled team going to the olympics thanks to the DOGE community. I don't get care if they're on at 3AM - I am watching! How can you not like DOGE after this?

Thats what this thread is for, informing miners.. if you don't switch you do yourself a disservice. I mean unless you absolutely FEEL that LTC is going to be so much higher in value and soon, there's no reason to stick with it. 🙂

Also, imagine Sochi, the Jamaican bobsled team on global TV... thanking all their supporters for getting them there, including our favourite Shibe.

ps. I just pulled the trigger, forced my brain to click buy.. all my BTC into Doge at 165 satoshi. *fingers crossed*
 
Doge difficulty is insanely high now...I'll continue to mine it for the time being. LTC difficulty still rising as well, just not as fast.

Still not sure if Doge is as viable as BTC or LTC. As soon as BTC dives again, altcoin prices will plummet, certainly including Doge.

Hard to sell it though, even with the Jan 31st Chinese deadline looming closely.
 
I'm a happy shibe right now. My DOGE is going up so much. Also, the 7850 I just plugged in is doing 412 kH/s at 1200/1200 I18 (1.175v locked VDDC), and seems to be stable. This is the best performing 78XX I have to date. For $120AR, it might actually pay itself off. :thumbsup:

LTC has been around a while doge is a new coin that pays huge amounts when a block is solved. When I started mining LTC was worth about .90 cents US. LTC has a strong network and a single LTC is holding strong at high 20.00 US.

Remember time is a huge factor and doge is fresh, keep those Doge iced for 6 months plus.
