So I need some help trying to mine on the laptop. This is what I get in CMD.

Code:

Something must've happened to Litecoins... 280x owners are selling off their used cards locally (at disgusting profit, of course.)

The dog stuff cannot last long. It looks like one artificial hype to me.
Also, I hate the childish meme-like nonsense phrases around it.

I am not sure there's any point in registering who knows where so I can mine it for a week.

O rly?

Sry, I had too 😀

Ya rly.
Seriously though, wtf is up with this thing? 😛 Half the internets went mental about it pretty much overnight. That's weird as hell.
Of course if people ARE getting money off it, it might be worth giving it a shot for a few days, but I honestly don't know what to think.

Does anyone know where I can sell these dogge coins?

Obviously I don't want to mine them if I can't get rid of them sharpish. With an eventual mining run of 100 billion, the long term target value for them is zero.

I use to think BBQ coin or Craftcoin or the others are junk and worthless. We all know thats just wrong. 😛

Looks like Coinedup got DOSed or its down due to overwhelming load..

The Dogecoin difficulty is going up quick. A couple thoughts spring to mind.

Since the amount is 100 billion, how is it only pumping out 10,000 an hour and dropping already quite quickly. There are claims of 300 million mined so far, that's a drop in the bucket of 100 billion and the difficulty is increasing.

*pure speculation, no basis* It would appear the creator has mined half the coins before releasing the code, or that the mining will drag on forever.

The difficulty went from 17 yesterday to 30 today. The total mining pool appears to have tripled in a day.

It seems to be picking up quick since it's barely hit the inter-web. We'll see how far the momentum goes but so far it appears to be profitable.

10,000 an hour? No way, I mined over 400,000 dodge coins today in 12 hours.

Difficulty adjusts every few hours.

Once Dodge is supported by other exchanges, it will take off bigtime (and so will difficulty due to everyone switching over), eventually the price will adjust itself based on difficulty, +/- 50% of LTC income seems to be common with other altcoins. Early adopters who mined heaps of coins when diff was low will be the winners, as well as people who bought it for dirt cheap.

Yeah I meant from my quite weak mining. The total output is far more, but I already saw a decline in 24 hrs.

*Pure speculation* I'm still skeptical about how far it will go simply due to the fact the creator is likely sitting on enough coins to crash it with one sale (surely with all the altcoins). Additionally, 100 billion coins is absurdly many.

Did you see the price hike of Devcoins and a few others with very high limits?

Its gonna be yonks until Dodge coin will hit its limit, scaling difficulty and reduction in rewards and all.

So at the current rate of growth, what do you think is the best way to cash out on this? Mine a few millions and sell asap?
