what do you mean by built in physx? and you wont be running advanced physx effects with your gtx260 anyway unless you want a slideshow at times.i bit for 3.24, the newer nvidia have built in physix, so no worries there![]()
Readers chose Dragon Age, and from my play-time so far with it (played maybe 3 hours and have gotten far too bored to continue right now), it seems like an incredibly boring story.

your card doesnt have a "physx gpu". lol. your card is just a regular gtx260 thats capable of running physx like any other gtx260. and Batman doesnt have the depth of effects seen in Cryostasis.some of the newer Nvidia cards have a physx gpu
and a slideshow..batman runs pretty smooth

what? please be more clear in what you are trying to say.you dont have to run physx too play the game..

you have made very little sense from the beginning. you said some Nvidia cards have built in physx gpu and then linked to a regular gtx260 which doesnt make sense. anyway I think you are only going to make things more confusing so dont worry about it. loli made a statement about how i bought it for 3.24 and said that the gtx260 has physx, someone corrected me, so i said that i dont need physx hardware to run the game or play the game. thats what i mean. i didnt think it was a complicated statement
how do i get rid of the stupid 'physx==>cpu' logo? oh and the mouse control seems too drifty/floaty I'll push, but I am not used to this style
Not sure what you mean by the logo. As for the mouse control being floaty, I remember that also but it wasn't really much of an issue.
Remember that your in a subzero arctic climate, and your character is not a soldier, but a meterologist. So I thought the slow handling and reloading of the guns was appropriate.
Also, I was looking through the concept art for the game and found this enemy who never made it in the game.

Fits pretty well with the symbolic themes of the game. Would have been interesting to fight against.
Guess I'll play it when I have a GTX 680 or something + a dedicated physx card. lol
Or you could just turn physx off and run it on your current card?
It's been stated already that the PhysX is not the attraction of this game. If you're playing this game to simply gawk at graphics, it's not for you. The PhysX effects aren't even that good.
Like I said earlier, its not PhysX that's the problem; I have both PhysX settings disabled, and it still runs like a sloth on both my GTX285 and GTX470.Or you could just turn physx off and run it on your current card?

The problem is caused by icy sheen on the walls, and no setting seems to improve things. The only thing that helps is melting the ice in-game.
Considering this game runs stellar for me with a 280GTX + 8800GT PhysX, I think this has to be something different..
Heh, "stellar"? Here's an identical kit to yours:Considering this game runs stellar for me with a 280GTX + 8800GT PhysX, I think this has to be something different..
