Crylsa banned? She cannot login gets some error message

Well she has been trying I guess but not from her listed email account. Can someone either help her out or explian whats going on? I am but just a messenger.

She might have been one of the unfortunate ones whose user name got corrupted in that whole database thing.

If I remember right, it's emailing the mod or Zuni and asking them to have their user name re-instated.

I got that message a couple of times, but it seemed to go away on its own, within a few minutes of the message.

If her name was corrupted then I believe she has to sign up again as new

You can easily tell though, do a search on the name and see if any posts come up, I think if they do she is still in the system. The folks that got deleted last weeks didn't have any old posts left in the db either.

Edit/She is still coming up in a search, so I think it should be fixable, whatever the problem is.

If you read this one http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=42&amp;threadid=328749, bobtist was a casualty of the db problem, but not only was his name gone so were all his posts, if you search on posts written by crysla they are there, so I don't think she is deleted.

yahoo is one of the free emails that are not allowed. i tried to change my account over to my yahoo account which is the one i actually check but it won't let me.

Well then whats going on? The WebTV account doesnt work, yahoo.com isn't a valid choice and see shows up in the db search, was she banned for something/

I'm pretty sure that message indicates that some kind of banning has taken place, rather than her account being nuked by this database problem that we're having.

I'm sure it was some kind of mistake though :Q Has she emailed the mods?
