I've flown well over 300,000+ miles butt in seat ranging from 14 hour flights to 45 minute puddle jumpers. I've experienced everything from crying newborns to being stuck in the last row in the smoking aisles on trans atlantic flights.

Anyone that doesn't travel with noise cancelling headphones is a fool. Put them on and forget you are stuck in a tin can for however long the flight is.

Or are you the kind of people that like to carry on a conversation with the stranger next to you the entire flight?

So I should cancel the non-refundable flight and cruise because she came down with a inner ear infection 5 days before vacation?
Not to mention the hotel before and after, the car service to and from the ship, etc.

Come on people. We've all dealt with crying children on a plane. As a parent there is absolutely nothing you can do. I have as much a right to be on the plane as any other passenger.

I'll take a crying kid on a long flight over someone that has a hacking cough that is going to infect the entire plane with their germs.

fwiw I think they're over reacting.

Disney cruise. 5 is a good age. Lots of things for her to do. Plus it is only a 3 night cruise, so it won't be too long for her first time out. If she likes it, we will consider doing it again. If she is meh about it, then next time we plan a different style vacation.

I've been on here for 12 years and haven't trolled once. It's friday, and I am bored out of my mind at work. So time to troll.
Figured it was a good time to pick a topic that pisses of ATOT. It was this or a tipping thread, but we have had too many of those recently.

And yes my daughter does have an inner ear infection, but in the half dozen flights she has been on, she has yet to cry.
And anyone flying into Orlando has to expect families on the flight. Guarantee there is some kid, that isn't mine, somewhere on the plane crying.
