why must the price of AGP radeon x850 xt pe's go up when I just saved up enough money for the price it was before they raised it? 🙁
 
Well, I imagine the prices are going to go down a notch as soon as they cut loose the G70. That is of course if ATI wanted to stay competitive with nVIDIA until the end of the year (when we'll finally see ATI's new cards in widespread availability 😛).
 
If money is tight, why are you getting an X850XT PE 😕

Get the X800XL & be happy.
 
What shady meant was the "for sale/for trade" forum. You might find some decent deals over ther.
I'd say if money is tight then you should buy the X800XL, it's an awesome card for the money. And not much slower than an XTPE.
Oh, and what price were you gonna pay? I might still find it for ya.
